Know when gaming is becoming harmful
Repeatedly chasing losses, playing to escape stress, borrowing to purchase coins, concealing time or spending, and neglecting work or family can be signals that gaming is no longer manageable. The operator’s policy includes a self-assessment covering these and related concerns.

A practical boundary-setting checklist
- Decide how much time you are comfortable spending before opening any game.
- Set a spending limit you can afford to lose entirely; buying entertainment never guarantees a prize.
- Take regular breaks and stop when frustrated, tired or distressed.
- Do not borrow money to play or attempt to recover earlier losses.
- Turn off promotional notifications when they increase pressure to return.
- If limits are repeatedly crossed, consider a time-out or self-exclusion and seek outside support.
Understand the difference between a break and self-exclusion
A short voluntary pause may interrupt an unhealthy pattern. Formal self-exclusion is a stronger access restriction controlled by the gaming operator. Shuffle.us describes a 24-hour initial cooldown and longer periods once selected. Its policy also describes account access, marketing and possible remaining balances during exclusion.
Read the self-exclusion guide and review the operator’s current exclusion policy before requesting account changes.
Independent help is available
The US National Problem Gambling Helpline provides confidential connections to local resources across states and territories. Call or text 1-800-MY-RESET or use the online chat linked at the National Council on Problem Gambling support page. Family and friends concerned about someone’s gambling can also seek guidance.
The helpline is not an emergency crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
Whom to contact
For account restrictions or an exclusion request, contact the operator directly through its published responsible-play process. For independent guidance about gambling-related harm, use external support resources. US-EN Lotto does not manage Shuffle.us accounts, withdrawals or self-exclusion.
